  • Faculty Position in Phys Ther

    Orthopedic Physical Therapy Position

    Individual at the PhD level with expertise in the areas of kinesiology
    and orthopedics is being sought for a full-time (12 month) tenure track
    position effective January 1, 1998.

    The successful candidate will be expected to augment the Department's
    research initiatives, pursue external grant funding and mentor graduate students. Teaching
    responsibilities will be to both entry-level and advanced program students.

    The Department of Physical Therapy has a nationally recognized and
    diverse faculty with programs for the PTA, entry-level MPT, and MS/PhD in
    orthopedics,pediatrics and movement science. New academic initiatives for the PTA and MPT are being
    developed.

    The Department is part of a major health science university with a strong
    academic and clinical environment. A newly renovated and equipped Biomechanics
    Research Laboratory with engineering expertise is in place. A
    collaborative relationship exists with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

    Academic rank and a competitive salary are commensurate with
    experience. The position will remain open until filled. Interested
