POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
MOTOR LEARNING AND CONTROL
POSITION: This is a tenure-track position with responsibilities for teaching
undergraduate and graduate courses related to motor learning and control and
associated specialties; establishing a research program and seeking extramural
funding; advising students; serving on departmental, college, and university
committees; and providing professional and community service.
QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate in Exercise and Sport Science or a related field
(e.g., neuroscience, bioengineering), with emphasis in motor learning and
control. Preference will be given to candidates with a research focus in aging,
balance control, disabled populations, and/or rehabilitative applications, and
which is complementary to research programs of existing faculty. Successful
record of research publications and funding. Successful prior university
teaching. Commitment to a compelling learning experience in undergraduate and
graduate education.
RANK:
Assistant or Associate Professor
SALARY:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
LOCATION: Oregon State University is located in Corvallis, an attractive
community in the Willamette Valley, convenient to both the Oregon coast and the
Cascade mountains.
