  • Biomechanics effects of the Rhythmic Gymnastic

    Hello

I am a new subscriber to BIOMCH-L and I am also new at using newsgroups,
but I’m really asthonished when I see how you respond to the requests
    that people make.

I’m very interested in studying the biomechanical problems related to
Rhythmic Gymnastic (RSG) and the spinal column.

Have any of you any experience about the ‘congenital lumbar escoliosis’
(crooked spine) and the RSG ?

Physicians usually advise against the practice of the RSG when one has
spine problems, but I would like to know if clinical evidence exists in
    this relationship.

Do you think it is necessary to give it up or is it adviseable to
    continue using a corset?

I’d be very grateful if you could send me some references about this
problem, and/or tell me about your own experience.

Thanks in advance, ... your assistance is appreciated
