I'm a Ph.D. student at Arizona State University in Tempe Arizona. I'm from
Perth, W.A. and studied with Bruce Elliott. Currently with Phil Martin,
working in biomechanics. Saw your request. We recently had a demo of an EMG
system by a company based in Phoenix. It was incredible. 300m range. Went
through our lab wall with no problem, noise free. They claim it is the signal
processing. The software is under Windows and it appears to work quite well.
The system can have up to 32 channels, although it gets very expensive. The
    cost for 16 channels is about US$71 000 (thats 3 zeros!!) around US$23 000
less for 8 channels. The address is
    NORAXON U.S.A., INC.
    8381 E. Gelding Dr.
    Scottsdale, AZ 85260
    Tel: (602) 443 3413
    Telefax: (602) 951 8046
Dewayne Rice is the technical rep. The company is originally from Europe but
all the software is done in the US. It has been well received in the US labs,
according to the rep. It is certainly worth a look if you have the money.
    Good Luck
