ANNOUNCEMENT OF FACULTY POSITION
The Motor Behavior Program in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at
Texas A&M
University is seeking applicants with strong credentials in motor learning,
control, or
development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in motor learning and/or control.
Develop a graduate course in neuroscience or motor control.
Conduct independent and collaborative research that merits extramural
funding and publication.
Advise graduate students and direct student research.
Qualify and serve as a full member of the graduate faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Earned doctorate with specialization in motor learning, control,
development, or related field.
Demonstrated record of effective teaching and focused research program;
extramural funding or
evidence of strong potential.
Strong quantitative or instrumentation skills preferred.
Post-doctoral experience preferred.
RANK, SALARY, AND APPOINTMENT:
Tenure track 9 or 10.5-month appointment at the rank of assistant or
associate professor effective
September 1, 1998. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
