I would like to post a job openning that we now have available at East
Tennessee State University. Although ATC, PT, or ACSM credentials are
not essential for this position, such candidates would greatly benefit
several undergraduate and graduate students (i.e, athletic training,
physical therapy, exercise physiology). ETSU also has a medical school
and strong medical community. Please feel free to share this

Position: Assistant Professor - Biomechanics
Start: August 15, 1998
Qualifications: earned doctorate in biomechanics or closely related
field. ABDs will be considered if degree is awarded before 8/15/98.
Expertise required in the mechanical aspects and analysis of human
movement.
Responsibilities: teach undergraduate and graduate courses in
kinesiology and biomechanics, conduct scholarly research, provide
service to the university and profession, and supervise student research
and internships.
Candidates should submit a letter of application, a current curriculum
vita, a transcript from his/her doctoral-granting institution, and a
