The European Society for Movement Analysis in Adults and Children is pleased to announce that it will be hosting an Instructional Gait Course at the Wellington Park Hotel, Belfast from 21-23 September 1998. We are privileged to welcome the team from Gillette Children's Hospital, Minnesota and the Connecticut Children's Medical Centre who have an international reputation for their courses.
The course is designed to be of use to those working in the field of gait analysis, as well as those working in allied fields who wish to develop an interest in gait analysis. The beginner will gain a basic understanding of the theory and skills of three-dimensional gait analysis and interpretation. The more experienced clinician will have the opportunity to review more complicated gait analysis data. For all, an understanding of normal and pathological gait will be developed with respect to kinematics , kinetics, EMG and oxygen consumption.
