Dear Colleague:
Many internationally renowned researchers will be converging on the
University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada to attend the North American
Congress on Biomechanics.
In conjunction with the NACOB event, the Department of Kinesiology at the
University of Waterloo will be hosting a workshop on BALANCE & POSTURE
DURING STANDING & WALKING: CONTROL MECHANISMS with instructors Drs. James
S. Frank, Aftab E. Patla and David A. Winter, August 18 & 19 (2 days). The
cost is $460.00 if you register before July 1, 1998.
This INSTRUCTIONAL WORKSHOP is directed at basic researchers, graduate
students and clinicians involved with the study of balance and falling and
includes, as part of the course notes, the text book, ABC of Balance During
Standing and Walking by David A. Winter.
