Dear Biomch-L readers,
In reply to Sherman Wilcox' query on Sign Language, I would suggest that
he get in touch with Dr Ursula Bellugi at the Salk Institute in La Jolla,
California; as far as I am aware, she is the prime authority on (A)SL in
North America, if not world-wide. She works, or used to work on 3-D gesture
analysis in collaboration with Dr Bizzi's group at MIT, and might be able
to provide useful pointers.
The Salk Institute is on the net; I suggest to send a note to POSTMAST@SALK
on BITNET (Biomch-L used to have a subscriber there).
