Colleagues,
I am looking for information on failure modes of iliac screw systems, unit
rod, or Galveston technique for pelvic fixation as experienced during
surgery for correction of pelvic obliquity (as associated with
neuromuscular scoliosis.) I have searched various databases and not come up
with any specific articles concerning failure modes (rod, screw breakout
from bone, etc...) Does anyone have any references to offer? Many thanks in
advance.
