We are seeking applicants for the following position in
TUV Product Service
BASiS Institute Boulder
Biomechanics Assistant
Location: Boulder, CO
Department: MED Division
Reports to: BASiS Director
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
(1) Organize and supervise biomechanical studies in different sport
areas. Within this role, prepare reports and documentation for the clients
or publications.
(2) Meet individual MED revenue goals by billing research to TÜV
product Service customers for research and test activities. Sell research
services through telephone conversations, information meetings with
prospective clients, overall customer education, seminars, attending trade
shows, joining industry groups or other activities as required.
(3) Coordinate multiple research projects with other BASIS and TÜV
locations to meet client schedules.
(4) Communicate in courteous and effective manner with internal and
external customers in all circumstances including quotes, answering
questions, relaying messages and providing information with regard to
research studies, test procedures, technical recommendations. Maintain
client confidentiality.
(5) Keep abreast of present and future research activities, test
procedures, instrumentation, technology and TÜV Product Service research
service capabilities through internal training sessions, external seminars
and reading of research articles.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanics or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years job and research experience.
Knowledge in electronics and abilities to create electronial plans for
special research demands. Knowledge of at least 1 programming language to
write code for special research projects.
