  • skeletal muscle & hyperelastic constitutive eqns.

    Greetings from a member of the human race (unless my mother isn't
    telling me something).

    I've been trolling the literature for references pertaining to the
    modeling of skeletal muscle
    using hyperelastic constitutive equations in a finite element setting or
    using some form of
    reduced model.

    I've come across plenty of articles regarding myocardium, skin, spinal
    disks, cells, eyes,
    arteries, passive soft tissue - you name it - but not many for (active
    or passive) skeletal
    muscle.

    I would be grateful if anyone could share some relevant sources with me
    and, of course,
    I would happily post a summary of any responses.

    Thanks,

    Jeff.
