    Dear Biomechanists,

    Howmedica is a leading manufacturer of orthopaedic implant medical
    devices, and a dynamic division of Pfizer Medical Technologies Group.
    Our ongoing commitment to research and Development has created an
    opportunity for a Research Engineer with a strong fundamental
    engineering background.

    Howmedica is looking for a talented individual to develop clinically
    relevant test methods and analyses to address current and future
    evaluation of hip and knee components. This will include providing
    support and education to worldwide Product Development and Quality
    Assurance to insure that products meet or exceed all regulatory and
    industry standards.

    To qualify, you should possess a Master's Degree in Mechanical
    Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a mechanical
    testing/analysis environment. Your background should include
    orthopedic biomechanics, finite element analysis, mechanical system
    simulation (ADAMS), use of single-axis and multi-axis test equipment,
    PC based data acquisition tools, and statistical analysis. Excellent
    verbal and written communication skills are a must.
