Dear colleagues:
I am currently upgrading my 3-D motion analysis software to add the pan/tilt
capability. I've located 4 papers dealing with pan/tilt technique so far:
Dapena, J. (1978). Three-dimensional cinematography with horizontally
panning cameras. Sciences et Motricite 1, 3-15.
Yanai, T., Hay, J.G., & Gerot, J.T. (1996). Three-dimensional videography of
swimming with panning periscopes. J. Biomechanics 29, 673-678.
Yeadon, M.R. (1989). A method for obtaining three-dimensional data on ski
jumping using pan and tilt cameras. Int. J. Sport Biomechanics 5, 238-247.
Yu, B., Koh, T.J., & Hay, J.G. (1993). A panning DLT procedure for
three-dimensional videography. J. Biomechanics 26, 741-751.
I also checked the Biomch-L archive with keyword 'pan' and found only one
relevent message (Otto Lind's) dated way back to 1992.
I would appreciate it if you could provide additional references or pointers
regarding this topic.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Young-Hoo Kwon
