I am studying gastrocnemius activity occurring during dorsiflexion in the
seated position for persons with a history of hemiparesis.
I am using surface electrodes, and the electrode over the gastrocnemius picks
up some crosstalk from the anterior tibialis. For most pilot subjects the
mid-medial position on the gastroc. picked up the least intensity of
crosstalk.
Is anyone aware of a reference dealing with this issue. Any leads would be
greatly appreciated.
