To whom it may concern:
we are looking for finite element meshes to be shared in the ISB Finite
element Meshes repository
http://www.cineca.it/hosted/LTM-IOR/back2net/ISB_mesh/isb_mesh.html
During the discussion which took place on BIOMCH-L a while ago many
colleagues stated their willingness to share meshes on such a repository
(see the biomch-l archives at:
http://www.bme.ccf.org/isb/biomch-l/archives/log9606/00064.html ).
Now the repository is available and submissions are welcome. If you have a
mesh to share please write to mesh@tecno.ior.it or go to the ISB_mesh web
page a follow the instructions.
The agreement any user have to accept before download limit the use of the
mesh to educational and research activities only. Furthermore there are
clear rules on the proper referencing of the mesh creator in every result
derived from it. We are collecting the agreement mails logging affiliation
and e-mail of each user; these data can be made available to any mesh
author on request.
If you would like to share you mesh but something in the site does not fit
in your opinion please let us know. We have just started the whole thing
and we know there is plenty room for improvement.
Last, this is a voluntary effort to for ISB and the research community at
large. We do not make a single penny out of it.
thanks in advance to all "submitters".
