  • Re: Transducer Techniques / load cells

    Biomechanics list,

I have used transducer techniques load cells (trt-100 100in/lb
torsion) in the past and never had any problems. In fact I have just
ordered a 5lb model from them and received it within two days. Some
other load cell companies that I would recommend are:

    Lebow/Eaton Corp.
    Sensotec (Columbus Ohio).

Sensotec makes a decent load cell but you are looking at 6-8 weeks
to get a non-stocked item. I have used their 5lb cell extensively and it
works well, the only problem is to replace it takes a long time and the
company does not always respond to calls in a timely manner.
