In walking the arms swing in healthy people and they are straight.
In jogging or running the elbows are bent.
This will greatly reduce the inertia of the arm about the shoulder.
Am I right in believing this will tune the arms to about the same
frequency as the faster motion imparted by the legs.
Engineers sometimes use resonant devices to take out unwanted
vibrations. I think this is done in electric razors.
The same principle perhaps
