  • nerve ending in bone

    Dear Biomch-L subscribers:

I am studying the stress distributing in the bone.

    My questions are:
Is there any nerve endings in the bone?
If yes, where are they in the bone? Only in the periosteum or in the bone
    trabeculae?
If no, how can the patient feel the pain of bone fracture?

    Thanks.

    Best regards
