Dear colleagues:
I am turning to my always reliable source of biomechanical information regarding the use of isometric testing in measuring hamstring/quadriceps strength ratio. Currently, there are a lot of research done using H/Q ratio as an assessment for knee stability or injury susceptibility. However, most tests utilize an isokinetic model such as a Cybex or Biodex machine. I am looking for research that may have used isometric tests in measuring H/Q ratios.
As usual, I will post a summary of salient points of all replies I receive. Thanks in advance!
