The Medical Engineering Section of Hungarian Scientific Society for
Measurement, Automation and Informatics (MATE) and the MEDING National
Medical Engineering Society jointly organise the
11th Hungarian Medical Engineering Conference and the
2nd Hungarian Clinical Engineering Conference,
BUDAMED '99
in Budapest, 12-14 September, 1999.
Motto of the Conference:
COMMON RESPONSE TO TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGES OF THE NEXT MILLENIUM
The Conference will be organised in scientific co-operation with the
European Society for Engineering and Medicine (ESEM), IEEE Engineering
in Medicine and Biology Society, International Federation for Medical
and Biological Engineering (IFMBE) and IMEKO Technical Committee on
Measurement in Biology and Medicine.
During the conference various aspects of biomedical engineering,
clinical engineering and education will be discussed. Presentations
will be both in oral and in poster form. Main sections of the
Conference:
biomedical engineering,
clinical engineering,
education.
Official languages of the Conference are English and Hungarian.
Simultaneous translation will be provided during the first day of
the Conference.
Deadlines
Submission of abstracts: 28 February, 1999.
Notification of acceptance of abstracts: 30 April, 1999.
Submission of camera-ready papers: 30 June, 1999.
Early registration: 30 June, 1999.
