  • Design and Analysis of Repeated Measures

For those biomechanists involved with repeated measures analysis of variance,
    this may be of interest.

COURSE: Design and Analysis of Repeated Measures

PRESENTERS: Nan Laird and Jim Ware
    (Harvard School of Public Health)

    DATE: October 2, 1998

    LOCATION: Bunts Auditorium
    Cleveland Clinic Foundation
    Cleveland, Ohio 44195

SPONSOR: Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology
    Cleveland Clinic Foundation

The design and analysis of repeated measures has emerged as a major
topic in biostatistical research and practice. This one day workshop
will review the conceptual and methodologic issues underlying current
practice, especially as applied in the clinical trial setting.

In four ninety minute sessions, the course will cover the following
    topics:

--models and methods for the analysis of repeated measures
--extensions to binary and count data
    --computing in the SAS environment
    --inference with missing data

These topics will be given a firm underlying theoretical basis, but
the emphasis will be on applications from the biomedical sciences.
Participants will leave the course with a clear understanding of the
requisite tools to tackle real problems in a repeated measures setting.
Both speakers are internationally recognized for their pioneering work
in this and other associated areas.

Nan Laird is Chair, Department of Biostatistics, and Henry Pickering
Walcott Professor of Biostatistics, Harvard School of Public Health.
James H. Ware is Fredrick Mosteller Professor of Biostatistics, and
Acting Dean of the Faculty, Harvard School of Public Health.

Please note that enrollment is limited to 60 individuals and will be on
    a first-come, first-serve basis.

    COURSE FEE: $250 U.S. Dollars
(includes professional course notes, breakfast and lunch)
