Mechanical or Biomechanical Engineer
Billy Cox & Associates is a consulting forensic engineering firm, specializing in automotive collision and automotive related research.
Ideal candidates should have course work in: biomedical engineering, basic biology, anatomy & physiology, and engineering instrumentation. Experience in hard & soft tissue injury mechanics, low velocity vehicle impact testing and instrumentation, static & dynamic analyses and finite element analysis (FEM) is preferred, but not required. Candidates will serve as professional consultants in a litigation environment; provide expert testimony; participate in on-going research & development; and be focused on problem solving. Technical literacy, excellent written & oral skills are a must.
BS or MS level degrees in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering is required. Entry level and experienced applicants are welcome to apply. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Houston.
Our client base represents companies and law firms in 33 states. Typical BC&A engineers start out earning between $32K and $65k per year, depending on experience. After one year, we offer an incentive based program based on productivity and experience.
