With reference to the recent postings on the history of Locomotion Studies:
During an early morning run in the town of Beaune in Burgundy, France I
serendipitously came across the Musee de Marey. This small museum contains
many wonderful artifacts from Marey's work and is well worth a visit (as is
the nearby Chateau Mersault and other excellent vineyards!). A sculpture on
the theme of motion analysis is also nearby.
