    Postdoctoral Fellowships

QUT's Centre for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering (CRSE) was
established in 1997 as a collaborative research centre involving the
Schools of Human Movement Studies, Mechanical, Manufacturing and Medical
Engineering and Physical Sciences. The Centre has a full-time Director
and provides access to an extensive range of facilities and expertise
within the 3 participating schools. Research in the Centre falls under 2
broad areas: the design, manufacture and evaluation of orthoses and
prostheses; and the development of non-invasive physiological measurement
devices or techniques. As part of its expansion the Centre seeks to
appoint two postdoctoral fellows to conduct research within these areas
of interest. Appointees will be located at either the Gardens Point or
Kelvin Grove campus of QUT and appointment will be for 2 years.

Qualifications and Skills: Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in
either of the two broad areas identified above and have a research
interest and background in one or more of the following: orthotics and
prosthetics; biomechanics; medical imaging; bioinstrumentation; and
    biomaterials.

Salary: $41 188 to $44 214 per annum depending on skills and
    experience.
