ANNOUNCEMENT:
The 18th Southern Biomedical Engineering Conference and the 2nd
International Conference on Ethical Issues in Biomedical Engineering will
be held at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, USA, on April
2-4, 1999. It is Endorsed or cosponsored by: Society For Biomaterials,
American Society of Mechanical Engineering, & the American Institute of
Medical and Biological Engineering.
Papers are solicited on new developments in theory, concepts, applications
and techniques in all facets of Biomedical Engineering, with particular
emphasis on orthopaedic biomechanics. Attendance and professional program
paper presentation by individuals from the US and the entire world are
encouraged and welcomed.
Abstract Submissions:
November 2, 1998 500 word abstract submission deadline (Please
submit electronic and hardcopy to Subrata Saha)
December 7, 1998 notification of abstract acceptance
January 11, 1999 deadline for submitting complete 4 page manuscript
