Position Description
Human Anatomy

The College of Health Professions invites applications for a full time,
10-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the
Department of Health Promotion and Rehabilitation (HPR), beginning May 1999.

Responsibilities: Teach classes in human gross anatomy to undergraduate,
health science, and graduate physical therapy and physician assistant
students. Additional teaching assignments may include pathophysiology and
kinesiology. Other duties include student academic advising, developing a
program of scholarly and creative activity through publications and
submission of extramural funding proposals, providing service to the
college, university and community and ongoing professional development and

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate is preferred and required for tenure;
ABD candidates will be considered for initial appointment. Evidence of
teaching experience in human gross dissection courses (regional anatomy)
and computer-assisted anatomy learning are required. Background in
neuroanatomy and/or exercise physiology is desired.
