Where can I obtain information about the mechanical properties of
muscles from birth to maturity.?
I am particularly seeking data about contraction and relaxation times.
A long time ago Buller recorded, I think, isometric myograms of the
contractions of certain muscles in kittens.
My recollection is that at birth in the young mammal all muscles are
slowly contracting, some but not all speed up with maturation.
I would really like the know where good data can be found
