  • Equipment Help

    Hello.

Our lab is currently considering a project that would involve the
acquisition of kinetic and kinematic data for a task that involves rotating
a fabric covered bar. One of the key issues to be considered is grip
strength needed to stabilize the fabric over the bar as the required torque
is applied to rotate the bar around its long axis. Video motion analysis
of the subject may be used in conjunction with kinetic acquisition systems.

Does anyone have any recommendations regarding instrumentation to measure
the above mentioned values? I have used Kistler products and Peak and
Qualysis in the past, but I am unfamiliar with the range of products
available for measuring kinetic parameters (e.g., strain guages,
    accelerometers, etc.).

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jeff
