  • statistic pattern of human movements

    Dear all,

I am a PhD student at the OOEC in Oxford. For wear analysis on a
simulator for hip replacements I require statistic data about patterns
of human movement and activities performed troughout a day. Important
activities would be walking, sitting, standing, running, climbing
steps. I require therefore the average time per day plus standard
deviation (if possible split up into subgroups of age and sex) of such
activities. Could anybody help me obtaining this data, or does anyone
know if studies have been carried out on this subject.
I would be very grateful for your help.

    Roland MUKSCH
