I have been in touch with Professor Ted Little who is running the conference
TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER BETWEEN HIGH TECH ENGINEERING AND BIOMECHANICS
at the University of Limerick in Ireland, 4-5th September 1992.
An Irish Postal Strike has been underway for the past month and, consequently,
all regular mail is being "bounced back" from Ireland.
Individuals who have not yet confirmed their registrations and accommodations
for this meeting should FAX the relevant information to:
Lynda Stevens
Conference Secretariat,
Department of Mechanical & Production Engineering,
University of Limerick,
Plassey Technological Park,
Limerick, Ireland.
(International #) 353-61-333644 FAX
(International #) 353-61-330316 Phone
Ted indicates that the papers for the meeting have all been reviewed, edited
and are currently being printed in book-form by Elsevier. Apart from the
disruptions of the Mail Strike everything is running well and the attendees
can be assured of a warm Irish welcome.
I look forward to meeting with Ted and other attendees in September. A good
Guinness helps whet the mind for the meeting and helps relax the body after
the sessions...
In the absence of guidelines from the Conference Secretariat, cheques for
registration should be held by the attendees for presentation at the
Registration Desk at the Conference.
Best wishes:
