ISB Technical Group on Footwear Biomechanics Fourth Symposium
First Announcement and Call For Papers
August 5 – 7, 1999
Greenwood Inn, Canmore, Canada
The Fourth Symposium of the Technical Group on Footwear Biomechanics will be
held August 5-7, 1999 in Canmore, Canada. Canmore is a small town of 9000
inhabitants located in the Rocky Mountains approximately 100 km west of
Calgary. Following on successful previous meetings in Calgary, Cologne and
Tokyo the Symposium will include invited speakers, free communication and
discussion forums. The symposium will directly precede the International
Society of Biomechanics XVIIth Congress being held from August 8-13, in
Calgary.

March 31 Paper Submission Deadline
May 15 Notification of Acceptance
June 1 Early Registration
August 5 Welcome Reception
August 6 Scientific Sessions
August 7 Scientific Sessions and Banquet
August 8 ISB Congress Welcome Reception in Calgary
A short 2-page paper should be submitted by March 31, 1999. Instructions for
