postings with citations

Dear subscribers,

While I am enjoying the current debate on elastic energy storage,
I would like to encourage the participants to give references
for their citations at the end of their postings. Not everyone
knows (Cavagna et al., 1985).

This would definitely increase the quality of the discussions
because it would give others the opportunity to join the
discussion after reading the important literature.

Elastic energy is an issue in biomechanics that will probably never
go away, but maybe the combined brains of Biomch-L subscribers
can achieve some progress.

Also, remember to keep these debates polite.
