Dear fellow interested ones in Biomechanics.
The other day I received some responses to my query as to measuring displacement of hexagons. The responses were very good...but I did not make my point clear enough. I was well informed by some of you as to how to measure displacement of shape of a singular hexagon ('gon); but what I had meant was displacement of one hexagon or several in relationship to eachother.
There are a few hundred doctors in the world today studying this phenomena as it relates to the 3 upper segments of the human cervical spine. C0 (zero), C1, and C2; and this displacement relationship to the tractionization and aberration of the brain stem and the superior portion of the spinal cord, with particular emphasis on the reticular system.
Clinical studies for at least 50 years have well documented that displacement of these hexagons (or osseous segments) results in distal aberration of cells, tissues, organs, and their systems via the nervous system. Conversely, replacement of same results frequently in a return to normalcy.
The return to normalcy is predicated on the degree of correction of the various factors related to the displacements. Displacement is usually only measured in a few degrees or millimeters. While correction is not easy to result in 100% replacement...the science is evolving where this may be on the horizon.
In the posts to this list I am impressed with the knowledge and study and monies spent in areas like the ankle, knee, and tissue of all sorts. But I do not see effort at this extraordinary junction, the upC spine.

Without Dx or treatment or consideration for the distal from the brain bodily malfunctions; there is a whole class of specialists, really separate and distinct from their mother profession, who detect, analyze with x-ray and physical evaluation, and correct these displacements resulting in spontaneous remissions or plain restoration of normal function in cases as diverse as asthma, allergy, epilepsy, diabetes, musculo-skeletal, and other visceral malfunctions. There seems to be some interplay with accelerated degeneration of some tissues and overall longevity due to organ longevity.
Many here to fore thought to be medical problems are somehow remissioning with structural alignment replacement of these hexagons. The area is exciting...the work is non-invasive and results are often remote and remarkable.
Some chronic extremity problems clear in just minutes to days after months and years of malfunction; with the correction of the hexagon placement this is possible frequently.
It would be quite a cooperation for you in Biomechanics to work with another profession whose basis is biomechanics relating to the neuro-spine.
The unique thing about this area of the neuro-spine is that it is diarthrodial joints, freely movable, unlike the other discal ones.
One degree of displacement correction can result in extraordinary return to health at any location in the body.
Can we relate?
