  • Biomch-L needs help...

    Dear subscribers,

Two of the Biomch-L co-moderators, Pierre Baudin of the University
of Alberta and Christoph Reinschmidt of Sulzer Orthopaedics, have
retired from active duty. Christoph has entered the commercial
world where service to the scientific community is not part of
his job anymore. Pierre will continue to be the editor of the
    Biomechanics World Wide website (http://www.per.ualberta.ca/biomechanics/)
which takes up much of his time and energy.

At this time I want to thank Christoph and Pierre for their
many years of service as co-moderators of Biomch-L. Thanks!

This also means that the job is now done by the three remaining
co-moderators (listed below) and some new help is needed. We
are looking for one or two people who are experienced in Internet
use and are willing to spend about 30 minutes every day,
one month out of four or five, on Biomch-L administration work.

    The work includes:
    - helping people subscribe, unsubscribe, and change address
    - receiving error messages and deleting bad addresses from the list
    - receiving postings by non-subscribers and decide on approval
    for distribution
    - help moderate the discussions

Let me know if you are interested or need more information.

    also on behalf of:
    Krystyna Gielo-Perczak and Michael Young
    (Biomch-L co-moderators)
