I've been tasked with investigating an incident involving a personal
watercraft in which a rider received a serious spinal column injury.
Specifically, I'm looking for test results or research regarding the forces
placed on the spinal column during boating (watercrafting?) and trauma
protection provided by the seat padding. Additionally, if there are any
current or proposed regulations regarding seating design in personal
watercraft.
