Dear friends:
We are trying to obtain some muscle length data using some equations found in
the litarature (Viesser et al, 1990; Hawkins and Hull, 1990 and Jacobs and Van
Ingen Schenau, 1992) in a movement that include simultaneous knee and hip
flexion and extension. The RF and HAM muscle lengths "seem" to be ok, but the
VM and VM muscle lengths are apparently too small. We have already checked the
conventions and also "seem" to be ok.
Please does someone have a clue about what we are doing wrong? Are there other
equations available to check our results?
Thanks
Andre Rodacki
