I am looking for some references showing the correlation between an
increase in percent grade of a treadmill and the increase in work needed to
handle this increase in grade. I have been told about a reference that
shows that with each 7% increase in grade, work is doubled. So that with a
14% increase, work is quadrupled. I have looked in Medline and CAB but am
unable to find the reference. Thank you.
