Dear subscriber,
We are developing, in our bioengineering laboratory, a
project to construct personalized orthopedics seats.
This project visa to model the seat with the same anatomies
characteristics of the patient.
So we are studying what is the best process to construct the
mold.
A option would be to use a software of the image conversion
2D (pictures) to images 3D, with the help of the CAD
program.
Another one would be to use any type of material to model
directly the seat. The seats of automobile competition are
made by this form.
I would like to know if you have any knowledge about this
specific area, or if you could indicate any research
center ou manufacturer which developing this kind of
project?
Thank you for your attention.
Best Regards,
Wagner de Godoy
