The Soft Tissue Research Center (STC) is seeking individuals interested in soft tissue
research. General responsibilities will be to conduct pioneering research
[cellular level to clinical studies] on the repair mechanisms of
injured soft tissues. Depending on skills and interest,
acceptable candidates will be place in pathology labs,
engineering labs, biochemistry labs, etc.
The STC is comprised of researchers from biological engineering, veterinary medicine,
biochemistry and animal science. The diversity of this group brings a truly multifaceted
approach to problems of soft tissue (e.g. tendons, ligaments, skin, etc.) injury and repair
Persons with degrees from
engineering,
physics,
chemistry/biochemistry
cellular biology,
animal science,
veterinary studies
or alike programs
are encouraged to apply.
