Dear Biomech-list members,
we did kinematic gait analysis in patients with total knee replacement 3
weeks after surgery.
Test-Retest conditions:
- Patients were tested before and after isokinetic open chain exercises at
60° and 180°/sec in concentric mode.
- Between test and retest patients had 10 isokinetic training sessions
within 2 weeks.
Results:
1.We found significant correlations between sagittal knee motion in swing
phase (angle, angular velocity) and isokinetic peak torque of knee extensors
