I have been researching head impacts which result in diffuse brain
injuries. Most of the existing research I have come across is either
clinical in nature (and therefore can't quantify the magnitudes of the
impacts) or studies impacts which are of sufficient magnitude that
diffuse brain injuries are definitely expected.
Is anyone aware of any research which studies dynamic load levels which
produce the onset of skull deformation or brain motion? (or diffuse
brain trauma?)
I appreciate any feedback and will post replies.
