  • Equine Biomechanics

I have been given the task by my CEO to help a friend of the
family. A physician friend of his has a daughter who is interested in
either equine biomechanics or equine computer modeling. She has no
experience in biomechanics or computer science (she had a double major
of Horsemanship & General Studies from a small Liberal Arts School in
Virginia, USA). She reluctantly understands that she will need to go
    back to school.
We did some equine biomechanics at the University of Kentucky when
I was there, but they are not doing anything now. I seem to remember
that the Universities of Delaware & Minnesota were doing equine
biomechanics. My question is: Does anyone on the list serve know of
any programs in equine biomechanics, equine computer modeling or
colleagues doing research in these areas which could adapt their
existing programs to be equine related. Please send the replies to me
& I will edit/post & send the replies to the individual in-question as
she does not have Internet access.

I thank you in advance for your help.
