Hi. My name is Nicole Castonguay and I am a junior at Yale
University majoring in the Biomechanics track of Yale's new Biomedical
Engineering program. Despite the fact that I am majoring in it, I know
very little about the biomechanical field, what careers are available in
it, or what working in this field is like. Since it is a new program at my
school, the department does not have very many contacts and I am looking
on the Internet to learn more about biomechanics.
As I have said, I am interested in learning what careers are
available, what the day-to-day work of an engineer entails. I am also
searching for a summer internship opportunity so that I can gain first-
hand experience. If you have any information on summer internships or if
you would like to share your experiences in biomechanics with me, I would
greatly appreciate any input.
Thank you for your time.
Nicole Castonguay
