    Physical Therapist Job Opening - Salt Lake City

    The Intermountain Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT is currently seeking a physical therapist to work in a state of the art Movement Analysis Laboratory. The laboratory utilizes a six camera Vicon system, four AMTI force plates, MA 200 twelve channel EMG system, and EMED and Pedar foot pressure distribution systems. The therapist’s responsibilities include all aspects of movement assessment including performing physical exams, collecting, reducing, and analyzing data, and interpreting the results. Education for these skills will be provided both through laboratory instruction and by attending national courses. Individuals with some previous laboratory experience are encouraged to apply. The Movement Analysis Laboratory was opened in December, 1996 and is currently staffed by a biomechanical engineer, two physical therapists, and a laboratory coordinator.

    Salt Lake City is conveniently located along the Wasatch front, the home to some of the world’s best skiing and hiking and site of the 2002 Winter Olympics.
