    23rd Annual Meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics
    University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

    October 21-23, 1999

    Information

    The Musculoskeletal Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh is proud
    to host the 1999 ASB Conference. We have many exciting events planned in
    support of this conference and hope to see you in October!

    Abstract submission forms, formatting instructions, information about the
    meeting and accommodations may be downloaded from the meeting web page:
    http://asb-biomech.org/conference.html.

    Abstract Deadline

    Abstracts must be received by April 1, 1999 in order to be considered for
    presentation at the meeting. Notice of acceptance will be given by June 1,
    1999. Materials are to be sent directly to Thomas Buchanan, the program
    chair.

    Awards

    The American Society of Biomechanics is pleased to annually award the
    Giovanni Borelli Award, the Pre- and Post-Doctoral Young Scientist Awards,
    the Journal of Biomechanics Award, the Clinical Biomechanics Award, the
    ASB-Microstrain Award, and Student Travel Awards. We encourage you to submit
    applications and nominations for these prestigious awards. For more
    information about the awards please contact the Chair of the Awards
    Committee, Mark D. Grabiner.
