2/22/99 WEB SITE UPDATES

The past two weeks were spent primarily on infrastructure development and so
unfortunately there are very few visible changes to the site. There are
only a few new links added.
The infrastructure changes/development is bringing us closer to registered
user access for on-line chat discussion forums and then on-line lectures.
As our IT department has worked on the software/hardware end of things, I
have spent time in Orthopeadic discussion forums and Engineering discussion
forums trying to assess what works and what doesn't. The goal is to provide
an avenue to lively, intelligent, real-time discussion in the area of
biomechanics research and the application of biomechanics in the clinical
setting. Anyone who has participated in on-line discussion chat/forums,
that has comments or thoughts regarding the use of those forums...please
email me.
