Opportunity for Postdoctoral Fellowship
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship at the
Biomechanics Laboratory, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation,
Yale University School of Medicine. The successful applicant will be a
Ph.D. in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with special interest in
problems associated with spine. He/she will have excellent interpersonal
communication skills and work habits, the ability to work independently,
academically motivated in this area, and a willingness to work in a team
consisting of other engineers, Orthopaedic surgeons and medical and
engineering students. Experience in computer programming,
instrumentation, and clinical experience is a plus.
The position is presently limited to one year. It may be extended
depending upon the availability of additional funding. The salary will
be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
