The Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopaedic
Surgery at the University of Iowa are seeking a Visiting Assistant
Professor with a special interest in upper extremity biomechanical
research. This is an excellent opportunity for collaborative
research with faculty from both departments. The individual would be
expected to engage in ongoing research, supervise laboratory
personnel and may be asked to participate in teaching. The
candidate should have received a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in
bioengineering or a related discipline. The initial appointment is
for one year with prospect for renewal and advancement.
Review of applications will begin December 1, 1999, although
applications will be considered until successful recruitment.
