The Department of Human Performance and Health Promotion at the University
of New Orleans is creating a gerontology "Falls Prevention Lab". We are
requesting ideas for equipment and protocols related to the scientific study
of balance, reaction time, and other topics related to motor control,
biomechanics, and exercise physiology. Our current interest is to create a
large balance platform that can electronically "suddenly" shift forward/back-
ward or left/right. We would welcome reprints, lab drawings, catalogs, verbv
verbal descriptions, etc. of your ideas. Send through the listserve or
to bitnet address BLEHP@UNO.EDU.
